dc.description.abstractThis research study was about the standards of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in MTSIFA. The objectives of this study were to identify the limiting factors to the presence of the standard of safe work practices, to find out the occupational hazards in the working environment of students and to analyze individuals’ opinions towards occupational safety and health in MTSIFA. The study explored how to improve the attitudes towards body safety and health by both Administration and students. This study identified health and safety practices, situation in MTSIFA then. The virtual aspect was to keep both lecturers and students’ health and safety. The research involved the review of literature on OSH from various books which concludes that effective health and safety policy and programs are vital and a legal requirement for any Art School like MTSIFA. This study also provided personal opinions about OSH. The study involved various statistical analysis after obtaining qualitative and quantitative data from both students and lecturers in MTSIFA. The researcher believed that this study would help the Art School of MTSIFA to understand the fact that it is cheaper to develop viable health and safety programs than meet the costs like compensations for injuries inflicted, legal fees and other requirements most especially on the students’ side.en_US
