An investigation on how paintings and illustrations can be used to fight against sexual harassment in most areas in Kampala

The study aimed at the role of paintings and illustration on the issue of fighting against sexual harassment in most areas in Kampala. The specific research problem of the study was to achieve the prevention of sexual harassment in most areas in Kampala with the help of painting and illustration and how to execute different solutions on how to prevent, help the victims of it in those areas spotted. However, it wasn’t given great emphasis in most of those spotted areas. This greatly opened up the level of creativity to using the paintings and illustration as a key factor to fight sexual harassment. The study was guided by the following objectives i) Bringing out the intensity of sexual harassment to light. ii) Finding out to what extent have they helped to fight against sexual harassment. iii) Bringing out the problems that people face when they are sexually harassed. The research study used both qualitative and purposive methods. The respondents were interviewed and also given questionnaires which were later collected after being filled. The researcher used the interview guides, questionnaires and direct observation guided by observation check lists which were applied as data collection methods.
