Abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of studio practice on students’ performance
in photography at Margret Trowell School of Fine Arts. The study was guided by five chapters
each describing a specific study as below.
Chapter one deals with the general introduction of the topic of the study, background, problem
statement,
Objectives of the study, research questions, significance of the study and scope of the study.
Chapter two has to do with literature review which closely studies existing information about
photography
Comparison and evaluation made about the relevant information to the topic of the study.
Chapter three address the nature of the study as well as well as the method used in the collection of
data.
There are research instruments, area of study, population sample, recording and observation.
Chapter four deals with the results in this case there is introduction, data from the questionnaire,
archival research and data from observation.
Chapter five bears the reflections and implications. Under the two we see the following; references,
appendix A and B, observation checklist and lastly the questionnaire
