Abstract
Furnishing metals are products used for decorating the home. Metal fabrication refers to the creation of metal structures by cutting, bending and assembling processes. It is a value added process involving the creation of machine parts and structures from various raw materials such as; Aluminium, stainless steel, carbon steel, iron, bronze and many others. A trend is a change or development towards something new. Most metal fabrication uses sheet metal, which can be up to .25inches thick. Large fabrication shops employ a multitude of value-added processes including welding cutting forming and machining as with other manufacturing processes, both human labor and automation are commonly used. A fabricated product maybe called a fabrication and shops specializing in this type of work are called fab shops.
