    Abstract
    The purpose of this study was to find out the factors affecting the making of mosaic pieces within the sculpture fabrication department at the margeret trowel school of industrial and fine art at Makerere University This study is based on Margaret trowel school of industrial and fine art as a source of inspiration. The researcher therefore carried out a study to examine why some raw materials suitable for mosaic and also mosaic materials are not being used by the sculpture fabrication students at Margaret trowel school of industrial and fine art
