A descriptive research on students' challenges in using painting materials in Makerere University at MTSIFA.

Abstract

This report encompasses some of the descptive challenges students face while using painting materials and some of the way forward to the challenges in Makerere University at MTSIFA conducted in 2020. The report brings out the challenges some students face while they are at the school of Industrial and Fine Arts basically because this is where the research was conducted from, and therefore the possible

solutions to these challenges.

There are five chapters in this report and chapter one traces the background of the research. It also covers the objectives of the study, significance, the scope of the study as well as the limitations. Chapter

two covers the literature review.

Chapter three of the report covers the methodology of the study where we it had research design, area of the study, target population, research instruments and also document analysis to research procedures. Chapter four of the report details all the findings about the students' challenges in using painting materials in Makerere University at MTSIFA. The chapter further discusses the solutions to address the challenges. Chapter five is about conclusions and recommendations depicted by the author during the implementation of the research report. The author further made recommendations on how these conclusions can be successfully implemented, way forward on what should be done about the challenges. In general the research was a great success because I acquired all what was drafted in the research

questionnaire.
