    Visitor attitudes towards hotel facilities and services in Uganda: A case of Lake View Hotel, Mbarara.

    Abstract
    This research study was carried out in Mbarara district western Uganda. The overall objective was to assess visitor‟s attitudes with hotel facilities and services within Mbarara, Lake View hotel. The specific objectives were to identify and describe facilities and services offered by Lake View hotel, establish the factors that influence visitor positive attitudes towards facilities and services in Lake View hotel and to examine the strategies put in place to enhance visitor positive attitudes towards facilities and services of Lake View hotel, self-administered questionnaires. Questionnaire responses were edited, coded and entered in SPSS computer software to create data file and later generate a statistical summary of results that have been presented in chapter four. Results show that the majority of the respondents were males comprising of (56.3%) and 65.3% were married. Most of the employees pointed out that they normally employ right people to enhance visitor positive attitudes. In relation to the above, the following were recommended in order to enhance visitor positive attitude, improve on accommodation facilities so as to retain old customers as well attracting new customers.
