    Abstract
    The study aimed at deriving designs from cinnamon leaves to make decorative plates in restaurants around Kampala. The specific problem of the study was that lots of designs for Plates have been used and applied but the fact that in my research, cinnamon leaf designs for pates have been used on a large scale to make designed plates out of it so therefore seta a study of how to use such kind of design to make plates. The study was guided by the following objectives.
