Factors affecting students' performance in drawing special at Margaret Trowel School of Industrial and Fine Art.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the factors affecting students' performance in drawing special at Margaret Trowel school of industry and fine art, Makerere University. this study is based on the art school of Makerere University as a source of inspiration. therefore , the researcher carried out the study to examine factors affecting students' performance in drawing special. In chapter one , the researcher looks at the background of drawing on the Ugandan curriculum right from kindergarten to University. In chapter two, the literature review. basically looking at how different sources described art and drawing and their different views about the art of drawing. Chapter three. here the researcher shows the methods that she employed to collect data for example research design, study area, sample population, research instruments, preliminary study, interviews, questionnaires,observations and literature survey. In chapter four, there is data analysis, presentation and interpretation of findings. Chapter five consists of summary of findings, conclusions and recommendations.
