dc.description.abstract This report is studied about on street parking and its implications to street management a case study of Luwum Street. My objectives were to determine the effects of on street parking on Luwum Street and suggesting measures to the challenges of on street parking guided my study. Observations, interview guides and physical field surveys were administered on individual basis along Luwum Street in order to come up with satisfactory findings. This was randomly done. The results indicated that on street parking is causing a lot of negative impacts to street management for example it causes traffic congestion, accidents, misuse of pedestrian facilities among others as well the mitigation measure suggested include pricing policy, prohibition of small businesses from operating on pedestrian facilities, building a parking enforcement system among others. en_US
