| dc.description.abstract | Bottle cap mosaichas been in existence on the globe for many centuries. In Uganda, it can be traced as a form of recycled art. Currently, bottle cap mosaicis done at a small scale due to little to know information about the practice. The purpose of this study was to evaluatethe using bottle cap mosaic to create a decorative table. Another aim was tocreate information about the presence of bottle cap mosaic and how it can benefit artists.A case study research design was used with both quantitative and qualitative methods. The data was collected from employees and customers of Dnyke Stationers Limitedusing mainly a selfadministered questionnaire; while data analysis entailed descriptive, factor analysis, correlation and regression analysis. It was revealed thatbottle cap mosaic is desirable in the art industry and can be used to make interesting artworks.The performance of bottle cap mosaicwas foundto useeasy to acquire material and thus can help in environmental conservationamong others. It is recommended therefore that artists adopt bottle cap mosaicmethods such as those used in order to getdiversity in outputs. This canincrease market share within the industryandincrease production techniques inUganda. | en_US |
