dc.description.abstract The use of drugs and abuse of drugs like alcohol, cocaine, tobacco is a very dangerous vice among university students with alcohol being the most used and abused drug (Sulayman & Kolawole, 2018). This may have negative impacts on their performance, social immorality, mental dysfunctions, school dropout, and above all addiction. Moreover, drug abuse is condemned by many institutions of learning including primary, secondary, and tertiary levels of education. At Makerere University, drug use among students while on campus is prohibited and it is a police case once one falls victim to this circumstance. en_US
