Mean Variance and Standard Deviation Calculator for Discrete Probability.

Abstract

Calculating means, variances and standard deviations of different probability distributions is unavoidable by statisticians. The current way of calculating these parameters is the manual approach, the use of pen, paper and calculator. Therefore, it is my main objective to develop an application that can help statisticians to calculate these parameters. The application will help in reducing time being used to do the calculations, ensuring accuracy of the computations and minimizing the paper work. In that line, I am determined to solve this problem by having a system that requires minimal hardware, does not require internet connection and easy to use.
