Abstract
Drawingisageneralformofartwhereonereferstoimagesofman,hissurroundingsandimaginationsandit'sdonebytracingonanysurfacesuchaswalls,papers,boards,nature,andmanmadeutilityobjectsusingmediaslikechalk,pen,pencils,crayons,charcoal,stick,metal,pastels,inkedbrushes,markers,stylus,graphicspen,,allusedaccordingtothecreators'goal,hisorherperception(point of view),hisorherfeelingsandaudience.DrawingisacorecourseatMTSIFAinthatit'sdonebyallstudents(it compulsory to all students). ThereareformsofdrawingatMTSIFAthatarelifedrawingthatinvolvesdrawingofhumanbeingswithreferencetomodelsintherewholenessorselectanareaofinterestbutwelldetailedandthesecondformofdrawingisobjectivestudydrawingthatinvolvesdrawingoflivingandnonlivingthingsinacompositionformdetailingafewandhighlightingthepointofinterest(choosing an area of emphasis) though every element or object maintains it's character all through out. This research has noted that students at (MTSIFA)areinfluencedbylifedrawingandobjectivestudrydrawingwherebysomestudentspreferlifedrawingandmanypreferobjectivestudydrawinghencelessmajoringindrawingelectiveorspecial.
