dc.description.abstract A modest number of modern and contemporary houses in Uganda have been built using timber despite the fact that it is such a viable construction material with numerous sustainability qualities and the simplicity that come along with its use. This study therefore seeks to examine the extent to which the use of timber can be applied in the designing, construction and living in residential dwellings and its responsive contribution to the general lifestyle of the inhabitants. en_US
