dc.description.abstract Print making is the process of making or creating artworks by printing on a given surface. It is an artistic process of transferring images from a matrix unto another surface and the types include relief printmaking, lithography, serigraph (screen printing), intaglio, mono type. Printmaking is the part of the elective course units at Margaret Trowel School of Industrial and Fine Arts including drawing elective, art appreciation, communication design, printing,. painting, sculpture, ceramics, textile, fabric to mention but a few. Printmaking as a course unit at Margaret Trowel School of Industrial and Fine Art has enabled many students who specialize in it to know the importance of print making, knowing more about print making, the requirements needed for one to become the great artist in printmaking, ways how great print makers achieve etc
