| dc.description.abstract | The primary aim of this study was to investigate the criteria considered in the selection of a suitable residential area in Nabidongha C Iganga Municipal Council. This report presents the findings obtained from fieldwork conducted in this specific area and document review. In Chapter One of this report, the introductory section provides essential context for the study. It encompasses the research's global and local background, elucidating the broader understanding of the research topic. Additionally, it outlines the study's objectives, research questions, significance, justification, problem statement, conceptual framework, and the scope of the investigation. Chapter Two delves into the literature review undertaken both before and during the research process. This literature review served as a foundation for a deeper comprehension of the research area and informed the study's direction. Chapter Three outlines the methodology employed in conducting the research and delineates the chosen research design, which encompasses both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The study adopts a pragmatic worldview, as it seeks to uncover truths about the factors influencing residential location through the comprehensive analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data. Chapter four explains the findings gotten from the research field and the analysis of the findings. This chapter was organized in a way that findings were presented by objective by objective while making the analysis. There are also tables and charts for proper analysis of the data gotten from the field. It also explains the limitations of the field study and their solutions. Chapter five explains the summary of findings from the previous chapter, chapter four. It also explains the recommendations and conclusion of the study. | en_US |
