Emphasis will be placed on the social relevance of clay sculptures in promoting open conversations and studio practice in order to come up with a solution to the existing disease through using art as a tool and in particular, sculpture. The study will use both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods which include interviews, library research, observation, studio practice and experiences of students regarding HIV/AIDS education through clay sculpture.
