dc.description.abstract A study to elicit local knowledge on the utilization and conservation practices for indigenous trees was carried out in Okwong Sub County Shea parkland Otuke district, Northern Uganda between February 2022 and December 2023.The specific objectives were: (i) To assess preferred uses, conservation practices/strategies of and threats to indigenous in the area. (ii) To examine socioeconomic and demographic factors influencing attitude towards conservation of indigenous tree species in the area (iii) To determine population structure and diversity of indigenous tree species in the area. en_US
