The study aimed at examining teenage mother`s knowledge towards maternal health. To achieve the above goal, across sectional survey was carried on the socio economic, demographic characteristics of respondents and the index of knowledge was obtained. A sample of 1309 adolescent girls living in Eastern Uganda was used. Secondary data was got from UDHS, 2016 and analysis of data was done at univariate and bivariate levels using STATA 15.chi square test of significance was used to establish the association between the outcome variables and the predicator variables. The variables which were associated with knowledge of teenage girls on maternal health included wealth index, place of delivery, total number of living children, education, knowledge of any method, place of residence, respondent currently working since the p-value was less than 0.05 Due to the fact that most of the variable examined had an association with the dependent variable, policies should design to curb the problem through government implementation of them to the community to reduce on the end result of lack of knowledge on maternal health and even to change young girl`s attitude towards maternal health.en_US
