dc.description.abstractDC-DC converters form the Backbone of small di erent portable electronic devices like cellular phones,laptops,MP3 players and solar chargers among others which are using batteries as their power supplies. Portable devices usually comprise of several sub-circuits that should be supplied with di erent voltage levels, which are not the same as the battery’s voltage. This study aims to explain how we can reduce the supply voltage from a power source to a lower voltage value that is required by the smaller sub circuits to fully operate.en_US
