dc.description.abstract | There are many problems faced by Ugandan motor vehicle users, the mechanics and spare part dealers in Uganda including; failure of users to locate mechanics, wearing away of suspension bush, overheating of the engine, wiring problems and also access to original spare parts in Uganda. Mainly these problems arise due to unawareness of the motor vehicle users about the mechanics and spare part sellers. We are planning to develop a mobile appli-cation, since many of the victims of the mentioned problems have access to smart phones, we hope this application will serve to interlink the spare part sellers to buyers and also mechanics to motor vehicle users. Some existing apps are not specic about the locations and the exact model and make of vehicles the mechanics specify in. Others do not have the platform for spare part sales. With the use of computer knowledge, we have been able to analyze and come up with a solution to these problems. In this report is the details of the solution to the all the above problems. | en_US |
