dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between mortgage financing and the performance of commercial real estate. Mortgage financing refers to a loan secured by collateral of some specified real estate property that the borrower is obliged to pay back with predetermined set of installments. Quantitative and qualitative data was used with the data being collected using closed ended structured questionnaires and interviews where necessary. The findings indicated a positive correlation between mortgage financing and the performance of commercial real estate.en_US
