dc.description.abstractThe study was carried out in Kisoro district south western Uganda in Shozi village in order to identify the image of women in kifumbiira folktales.The idea of carrying out this research was to find out the image of women. I visited different who narrated for me stories which had women characters and their character traites.This was through interviewing whereby oral questions were passed to the people and they provided appropriate answers.I found out through the folktales narrated that women are hardworking, inferior and submissive.en_US
