The manual process of wall plastering on construction sites requires huge labour and this results into a high labour cost; the quality of plastered work depends on the skill of the plasterer in the manual plastering process. Due to the manual application of plaster material to walls, there is prolonged project completion times and high labour costs involved. The solution to the challenge of prolonged Project time and high Labour costs was to construct a wall plastering machine/prototype to overcome these challenges. Constructing a wall plastering machine does not only increase the plastering speed but also reduces the number of laborers/plasterers required to finish the plastering process. The wall plastering Machine prototype components were designed using computer software of Solid Edge and assembled in assembly environment of the software, the prototype was tested in software through a simulation to check on whether it would smoothly work well. Physical Prototype Components were constructed in the workshop and assembled together to form a working prototype. The wall Plastering Machine Prototype performance was tested and it successfully applied plaster on chosen area of vertical straight wall, the plastering speed was good, wastage of plaster material was minimal, only two Laborers/plasterers were required to operate this Prototype. It was conclude that if this wall plastering machine/Prototype would be motorized/automated with addition of conveyor belt and motors. Better plastering speeds, reduced number of plasterers would be attained. Therefore Project completion time and project cost would be reduced.en_US
