dc.description.abstractBuilding connections in the real world is a universal human need. That truth, and the reality that Neighborhoods are among the most important communities in our lives, have been guiding principles for this our app. Thriving communities are more than just residents. They’re also made up of the local businesses, nonprofits and public agencies that keep our neighborhoods strong and connected. GPS, or the Global Positioning System, is a global navigation satellite system that provides location, velocity and time synchronization, GPS is everywhere including the smartphone. We are to develop a phone application to enable a user with a smartphone discover the closest neighboring individuals using GPS who could be of great help to the user inform of services and interaction. We are to use the haversine formula that determines the great-circle distance between two points on a sphere given their longitudes and latitudes while accounting for global curvature.en_US
