dc.description.abstract | This research set out to analyse the way irony is brought out in the Jopadhola fables and it was mainly concerned with collecting a number of fables and this was done through involvement of various individuals of different years who helped in the narration of the fables and this was carried out after I had read and had knowledge about oral literature being a piece of art that is created and that fables are among its subgenres. Therefore, this research that I carried out, I found out that irony is great important in bringing out messages that are found in the Jopadhola fables. The study had to bring out point out the types of irony that are in the fables. | en_US |
