The objectivity of this study was to investigate the effects of the nature of agricultural activities on household income. The assessment was made on gender, level of education, main occupation, farming activities, farm inputs, and other economic activities using both primary and secondary data sourced from iterero parish in Ntungamo district using a sample of 100 farmers. The analysis was made using frequency distribution and summary statistics, chi-square test, and ANOVA. In the results, the majority of the farmers were males with a mean household size of 6.74 and a mean monthly income of 372868.85 At the bivariate level, the research shows that there is a significant relationship between the level of education and agricultural productivity; agricultural activities and agricultural productivity; agricultural inputs and agricultural productivity; and that there is no significant relationship between the nature of agricultural activities and household income. In conclusion, the main hypothesis of the study was rejected implying that the nature of agricultural activity has no effect on household income. The study recommends that farmers should increase and adopt the use of agricultural inputs so as to boost their agricultural productivity which will increase their farm output hence more earnings.en_US
