dc.description.abstract | The Ugandan government initiated various programs and projects to address youth poverty and unemployment all over the country and one of programs is youth livelihood program which is aimed at empowering the Ugandan youth by enabling them harness social economic potentials and also increase the levels their incomes and self-employment. The study is majorly to know the contribution of youth livelihood project towards improving the livelihoods of the youth in Ibanda Municipality, Ibanda District. The researcher employed case study using qualitative approach to assess the contribution of youth livelihood program towards the improvement of the livelihoods of the youth in Ibanda Municipality. A sample of 10 groups was selected to take part in the study I n the municipality to help in assessing the contribution of youth livelihood program towards increasing the livelihoods of the youth within the municipality. The study concluded that youth livelihood program has changed the lives of many youths directly and indirectly as it has to some high degree dealt with the issue of poverty and unemployment within the youth. | en_US |
