dc.description.abstract | The process of locating sewerage pipes and fresh water pipes breakages is very hard and tiresome compared to the size of Kampala city. The manual searches result into lime wastage, incurring extra costs and it does not engage the public and the people on ground that are affected by these occurrences. Pipe leakage Reporting System will display the stat istics for the worst affected areas for easy follow up. It will enable people to report any sewerage and fresh water pipes breakages and
broken pipes with just logging in and posting the picture or video and the system will automatically send a notification to the admin of the location. This will thereby be followed up by the concerned entities. This will make it very easy for them to reach the affected area in time. This system will attract more people since it will reduce poor sanitation and hygiene which has
been identified by public as a cause for sanitation related problems. | en_US |
