Construction projects are faced with a variety of challenges before during and after construction especially in relation to the project cost, time duration and quality of work produced. There are new technologies that are being adopted in order to reduce the issues that occur on the construction projects to ensure more efficiency and effectiveness. Building Information Modeling known as BIM is one of these developing technologies. With the introduction of BIM on construction projects in developed countries such as UK and America, it has largely reduced project time delays such as variations that usually take a long time to finalize due to long processes of carrying out new design changes and taking off. The introduction of BIM on projects in Uganda would help reduce the project time which is one of the largest problems faced on the construction projects in the Country. This research was carried out to find out the best strategy to put in place so as to ensure effective and efficient implementation of BIM on our projects so as to improve time, quality and cost on Ugandan construction projects.en_US
