dc.description.abstract	The study was purposely made to bring out the nature and image of male chauvinism in the Kisoga proverbs. It shows how men in Busoga take themselves more important than others. They mistreat women and they take pride in their actions as they do not allow other people especially women to exercise their rights. Hence, my research has mainly focused on the nature of male chauvinism through the different aspects of mistreating women due to the fact that many other areas have been tackled	en_US
