    Abstract
This final year project report presents a no-touch handwashing tap and contactless temperature screening system that focuses on reducing contact with surfaces when washing hands and also in temperature taking and recording as it does not require one to use their hands in opening and closing the tap faucet as well as records a person’s temperature by them simply scanning their cards and taking their temperature through the system inbuilt contactless sensor and all the information is stored in an online database for easy access, querying and tracking. Chapter one of the report is the Introduction, it presents the problem statement and justification, concepts of the background, objectives of the project with the main objective being to build a no-touch hand washing tap and temperature screening prototype system, overview components used. Chapter two presents the methodology, that is, how the various specific objectives were achieved using the listed resources, the system prototype design, the results and observation. Chapter three further highlights on the conclusion, recommendations, future work and lastly the appendices and references
