    Abstract
The study aims at looking at the use of anaphora in of kiganda children's songs. Children songs are songs or nursery rhyme set to music, songs that children compose or invent for themselves for the purpose of entertainment. These songs can also be transferred from the adults to the young ones songs that adults learnt in their childhood to the young ones. Children's songs are used by the Baganda people as a tool for entertainments for kids and also to pass on some important message or lessons to the young ones. The research observed that children's songs are now replaced and threatened by western songs and modern songs thus children nolonger find them entertaining because of the new existing modern songs. Thus the research recommends that children's songs should be taught in schools at all levels.
