    Abstract
Drones also known as unmanned aerial vehicles/ systems (UAVs/UAS) were initially created for military purposes in the 90s. However their evolution has expanded to other fields to apply in areas such as photography, videography in many places such as beaches, surveillance and other purposes. In Uganda and Africa at large, most of these drones are operated manually by a skilled personnel located somewhere as it is flying using a remote control. This project calls for development of a low cost flight control algorithm which was developed in Matlab 2018 software through the development of block diagrams in Aerospace Simulink block set and tested in the 3D environment using different paths.
