Smart car parking systems typically obtain information about available parking spaces in a Particular parking area and process it in real-time to facilitate vehicle parking at available positions. Internet of Things (IoT) enables the connectivity between surrounding environmental things to internet and makes it easy to access those things from any remote location. The effective use of an IoT technology can ease human life in some aspects. The work in this project is one of the applications of combination of IoT and cloud computing technology. The objective of this work is to design, analyze and implement “IoT based smart car parking system”, this saves the user their precious time through its ability to determine the availability of parking slots in indoor parking areas where it has been implemented. Its ability to provide the probability of occupancy of parking slots saves drivers from being misguided towards a parking slot that is going to be occupied by another car before their arrival. The user is able to access this information with the help of mobile application.en_US
