dc.description.abstract | Cost overruns are issues of serious concern in construction industry. These overruns have detrimental effect on national economy since most buildings and roads in Uganda implemented by tax payers’ money. This therefore necessitated the investigation of factors that lead to cost overruns. The survey was carried out using an online study as well as physical interviews with the printed questionnaire. The respondents were engineers, architects, construction managers, quantity surveyors. The factors were grouped into five categories that is technical, environmental, economic, managerial and project resources. The factors were influential in the following orders: technical, project resources, managerial, economic, and environmental related factors. | en_US |
