Most road construction firms face low labour productivity from their projects because they are ignorant about which resource impacts productivity to the highest extent when greatly managed. This report studies the impact of labour management on labour productivity on road construction firms in kampala. The findings show that labour should be more managed than other resources of production since managing labour indirectly means most of the other resources are managed. By so doing, road construction firms will be able to achieve the desired labour productivity. The labour management techniques identified during the research were scheduling and planning, motivation, supervision and monitoring, health and safety management, training, recruitment and replacement management, and effective communication. This research involves use of both qualitative and quantitative approaches during data collection. Both primary and secondary data were obtained from previous research and semi-structured interviews. There was active participation of the researcher to critically observe and come up with the findings. Graphs, tables and pie charts are used to analyze data and come to conclusions and recommendations.en_US
