This study aimed at examining the factors affecting children`s living arrangement in Uganda using the UDHS, 2016 data set. The data was analyzed at three levels that is to say univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. At bi-variate level, all the factors were found to be influencing children`s living arrangements since the chi-square p-value was less than 0.05. At the multivariate level, results indicated that child`s age, employment status (OR= 0.772; CI=0.470 - 0.719) and wealth index (OR=0.730; CI=0.571 - 0.932) were the determinants of children`s living arrangement in Uganda. Making the stated null hypotheses for these variables false and the alternative true. The researcher recommends; identifying strategies for reducing financial hardship among parents generally mothers to enable them raise their children. Policies should be implemented with emphasis on parents to raise their children. This will enable children to grow up with both of their parents. Developing flexible and varied sources of support for children experiencing family breakdown, perhaps through raising awareness of the impact of family breakdown via whole- school approaches to improving children’s health and well-being.en_US
