    Abstract
    This research was conducted in Ibaare sub county-Bushenyi and its main purpose was to realize the symbolism of Runyankole proverbs. In this, it showed me the ability to research on proverbs at the mind of culture. This research analyzes thirty proverbs about hard work and their symbolic meanings and possibly, it is a requirement in the partial fulfillment for the award of Bachelor of Arts with Education. English language, literature during the research. During the research, obtained the information from different people about proverbs and the method used to collect data were; interviewing, discussions and the library. In the research, I wrote and translated the proverbs depicted meaning both inner and outer meaning of every proverb through consultations and observation. I acquired skills in different fields of data analysis, preservation, and inter-personal cultural leadership however, I faced some challenges during the research period such as finance, time (long hours at work), travelling on bad roads during field work more so, this research provided findings of the study and recommendations to the entire readership. It gave me experience and skills more to development in the field of community
