    Abstract
    This report is organized into three chapters; Chapter one This is the introduction chapter which gives a background to the research, describes the problem and justifies it, states the aims and objectives of the study and describes the study area. Chapter two This contains the literature review which describes concepts about biomass, its importance, sources, tools used for its estimation such as traditional and remote sensing methods, their advantages and limitations and how biomass trends can be generated and predicted. Chapter three This contains the methodology which describes the methods and data used to attain the specific objectives of the study.
