dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this research is to access the impact of existing land use plans on tenure security in Nansana Municipality and the specific objectives are to investigate the effect of existing land use plans on tenure security in Nansana town and to find out ways in which land use planning can improve tenure security. The researcher collected data from 63 respondents of whom 7 were purposively selected and 56 were randomly selected from land owners in Nansana Town. Data was collected using a combination of in-depth interviews and questionnaires as well as analysis of secondary data sources The findings of the study show that to some extent land use plans affect tenure security in Nansana and by making the process participatory tenure security will be improved.en_US
