As water supply is becoming scarce in today’s world and non-uniform distribution of water seen by the current irrigation systems, there is an urgency of adopting smart ways of irrigation. The project describes how irrigation can be handled smartly using IOT. This project aims at saving time and avoiding problems like constant vigilance. It also helps in conserving water by automatically providing water to the plants/field depending on the water requirements hence reducing water wastage, the system therefore proves to be helpful and of great value in agriculture. The objective of this system is to detect the different crop field parameters and determine whether it’s sufficient enough not to or to provide water to the crops. The dependencies are generally the moisture content, temperature and humidity in any given crop field. This entire information will therefore be sent to the farmer through the web application and the farmer will be able to analyze the information and be used for the next irrigation.
