Social influence, substance abuse and sexual harassment among minor adolescents.
Abstract
The study examined the relationship between Social Influence, Substance Abuse and Sexual Harassment among minor adolescents of Makerere Kikoni. A correlational study design was adopted. A total of 100 questionnaires were randomly distributed among respondents. Data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 23 (IBM SPSS Statistics 23). The hypothesis of the study indicated that there was no relationship between social influence and substance abuse. The findings show that there is a significant relationship between social influence and substance abuse. The second hypothesis stated that there was no relationship between social influence and sexual harassment. The findings show that there is a significant relationship between social influence and sexual harassment. The third hypothesis stated that there was no relationship between substance abuse and sexual harassment among minor adolescents. The findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between substance abuse and sexual harassment among minor adolescents.
