Feasibility study for the manufacture of KN95 masks in Uganda
Abstract
In response to the high demand for the face masks which serve as a crucial intervention in preventing the corona-virus nationally. The masks are designed to prevent infiltration of virus and dust as well as offer friendly face presence when put on. This study will mainly seek to ascertain and determine the necessary machinery and technology used in the manufacture of KN95 masks with their corresponding costing. It also includes the financial analysis and statements for decision making. External stakeholders would use it to understand the overall health of the industry as well as evaluate the financial performance and business value. The cash flow statement provided an overview of the cash flows from operating activities and financial activities that is to say both debt and equity. The bottom line shows how much cash the company would have at hand after running all the operations. Therefore, it was discovered from the forecast that it would be sustainable and it’s profitable to invest in manufacturing of the masks at large as the margins indicated.
