dc.description.abstractThis study was assessing safety measures on building construction sites. A case of selected construction sites within Kampala district. The study covered the period 2010-2020. The three objectives of this study were; to identify and rank the causes of accidents on site, to identify the effect of non-adherence to safety measures on site, and to identify safety measures to be observed to avoid or reduce site accidents. The study employed the descriptive research design, used both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study population was 80 respondents and a sample size of 66 respondents did participate in this study. Questionnaires, interview guide, observation and documentary review method were used to collect data and SPSS software was applied for analysis.en_US
