dc.description.abstractIn this research, the researcher [examined] various Ganda proverbs for the relevance of hard work among Baganda. Hard work being a vital discipline among the Baganda, it is often brought up in all oral Ganda genres, proverbs inclusive. By the end of this research, we understood how important hard work is among the Baganda through some of their proverbs. Proverbs like “Kyosiga ky'okungula”, meaning “You reap what you sow”, are evidence of how vital hard work is among the Bagandaen_US
