dc.description.abstractThis research was mainly conducted to investigate and show the irrational drives found in the Sabiny folktales. From the research carried out, it was ascertained that irrational drives determine the actions of an individual in society. In other words, an individual is driven by certain desires that need to be satisfied for instance one may look for food in case they are hungry, for water in case they are thirsty, etcetera. All this are irrational drives that prompt someone to act according to their demands, It was therefore at the center of this study to find out some of this drives and their outcome through considering the eight selected Sabiny folktale.en_US
