This dissertation seeks to focus on how imagery is an important aspect in explaining the meaning of Runyankole fables. It involves the collection of ten selected fables from the field. It is centered on an approach that uses the theory of imagery and this helps to interpret and analyse the meaning of these selected fables. Therefore, this research which I personally carried out seeks to draw a relationship between the use of imagery and the meaning of the fables and how this relationship makes it easier to understand the fables.en_US
