This final year project proposal introduces an e-ticketing system which enables users to purchase tickets online. The system is bound to solve the identified problem which is to minimize the wastage of time and resources involved in the making of event tickets. The purpose of the study is to be able to discover a way event organizer can design their tickets and posters, sell the tickets and keep track of how many tickets have been sold. A user interface (UI) was implemented and provides users with access to purchase tickets online and make payments using the different modes available. Another user interface for the event organizers was implemented and enables them to create events, design posters, track the number of tickets sold, analyze overall statistics among other great functionalities. We successfully implemented the system to meet most of our goals like generating tickets, designing posters, online payments, purchasing tickets and many others as mentioned in the report. We highly recommend our system as it won’t only evolve our country in the technology sector but will also reduce on resource wastage greatly. In conclusion, the relevance of this study is to eliminate third parties such as people who print posters and tickets, people who sell tickets and to be able to track the number of tickets that have been sold effectively.en_US
